He is a young and very successful businessman, highly respected not only in
the business community, but also by everybody in our society. He carried Alka-
loid into a new phase of development and showed that the student could be a
worthy substitute for the remarkable teacher. The obvious reason for this mega
interview with Zivko Mukaetov, General Manager and President of the Manage-
rial Board of Alkaloid, was the big anniversary, 80 years of Alkaloid. We talked
about the company’s business model, its investment policy, about how brands
are made, the international markets, “Macedonia2025”, about the ways he re-
laxesfrom the numerous professional duties…. His opinion that the companies
should take the responsibility for their own success is impressive. We expected
nothing less from the man whose motto is: “We can do better”.
