film novelties and recommendations,
representation of film professions and
professionals (Atanas Georgiev – editor
of picture and sound) and what is excep-
tionally important, space for the young
and hopeful names in the domestic film
scene. The magazine has minimalistic
and simple design, while the general
writing style is unpretentious and un-
derstandable. In this first edition most
of the contents are authored by the two
editors, who took over most load and
this makes sense considering the bur-
den brought by every new beginning. I
hope that in the near future, the edi-
torial staff and the team will expand,
and Film+ will become the ideal space
where the young authors will make
their first steps in the field of film criti-
cism and essay writing. Film+ is a space
for open debate and critical reflection
on the film, a small, however very im-
portant piece in the mosaic of wishes
for a brighter future of Macedonian
film. The team of this monthly editorial
is ahead of a serious challenge. I wish
them luck and endurance, and I impa-
tiently wait for the second edition.
