I prepared this long introduction be-

short stories by Nenad Joldeski. The book
is published in 2012, which means that
the new production does not have to be
preserved during the selection. In this
regard, I wonder, was this the book of
short stories that marked the past sever-
al years? Is it a matter of some aesthetic
of intellectual credo that we missed and
didn’t notice?
I would primarily say that, same as
most young authors, Nenad Joldeski is
preoccupied with the issue of his au-
thorial manuscript, his own poetics.
The traces of his aesthetic and autho-
rial tastes are very expressed in his short
stories. The book is expressively artistic.
The stories are short, the retorics is ex-
pressively metaphorical, non-mimetic.
