should not (economic activities), extremely
badly executes its own functions. For
decades, Macedonia gets the worst grades
especially in the areas, like: competition,
rule of law, law and contract execution, etc.
Those are exactly the areas where the state
could makethe largest contribution to the
development of the economy. Simply, the
state should secure level playing field and let
the individuals and firms perform economic
activities. It should create conditions
in which individuals and firms will be
encouraged to work, where one simple rule
shall be applied: only the successful ones
will prosper, the unsuccessful ones will fail.
Contrary to this, the country in which the
successful ones do not get even a possibility
ones are the key “players” (of course, due
to the state’s involvement), is doomed to
stagnation and failure.
