For signing submissions wherewith a procedure is initiated, agreements,
explained submissions, complaints, answers, statement of last will and proposal
for performance, the award is determined according to the amount of the request
in the submission or according to the prescribed discipline or other measure and
according to the prescribed fine.
For submissions with a claim:
- up to 10,000.00 denars, the award is an amount of 1,000.00 denars;
- from 10,001.00 denars to 50,000.00 denars, the award is an amount of 3,000.00
denars;
- from 50,001.00 denars to 100,000.00 denars, the award is an amount of
4,000.00 denars;
- from 100,001.00 denars to 300,000.00 denars or prescribed disciplinary
measure, fine or prison up to 1 year, the award is an amount of 5,000.00 denars;
- from 300,001.00 denars to 600,000.00 denars or imprisonment up to three
years, the award is an amount of 6,000.00 denars;
- from 600,001.00 denars to 1,000,000.00 denars or imprisonment up to five
years, the award is an amount of 7,000.00 denars;
- from 1,000,001.00 denars to 2,500,000.00 denars or imprisonment up to ten
years, the award is an amount of 9,000.00 denars;
- from 2,500,001.00 denars to 5,000,000.00 denars or imprisonment up to
fifteen years, as well as in a police procedure, the award is an amount of 12,000.00 of legal advices, representation in negotia-

For preparation of an application before
the European Court of Human Rights, the
award is an amount of 60,000.00 denars, and
for each next submission for communica-
tion with the European Court, the award is
an amount of 15,000.00 denars. In regard to
the legal assistance and representation in a
proceeding before international arbitration
and international courts, in disputes with a
value up to 5,000,000.00 Euros, the award
is an amount of 20,000.00 denars for every
started hour. In disputes from 5,000,001.00
Euros to 10,000,000.00 Euros, the award is an
amount of 30,000.00 denars for every started
hour. For more than 10,000,001.00 Euros,
the award is an amount of 40,000.00 denars
for every started hour, and in international
criminal courts, the award is an amount of
40,000.00 denars for every started hour.
There are also important novelties in
terms of the collection of the actions which
the attorneys undertake as registration
agents before the Central Register. The fol-
lowing fees are determined in this part:
REGULATIONS
- for change of email address, registration
of working hours and announcement of liq-
uidation, the award is an amount of 1,000.00
denars;
- for a status change, the award is an
amount of 3,000.00 denars;
- if several status changes are performed
at the same time, the award increases by 50%
for each next change;
- for establishment of companies and oth-
er legal entities, the award is an amount of
9,000.00 denars.
The provisions that remain in force state
that the fee stipulated with the Tariff increas-
es by 30% in the name of a lump sum for all
ancillary actions which have been tariffed, as
well as that the fee stipulated with the Tariff
for all activities which are undertaken by the
lawyers, VAT taxpayers, is calculated and col-
lected increased by the VAT amount.
In accordance with the law, the advocacy
is determined as an independent public ser-
vice which secures and provides legal assis-
tance, which also comprises of the provision
tions and performance of services from the
field of a business protocol, preparation of
documents on legal matters, preparation of
agreements on establishment, partnership,
cooperation and similar acts in regard to the
establishment or the operation of the busi-
ness entities, preparation of submissions in
judicial and other proceedings, representa-
tion of the parties before the courts, the state
authorities, the authorities of the local self-
government units, and other legal entities
and natural persons, etc.
With such a legal formulation, the advo-
cacy is defined as the only legal profession
which is necessary for each entity in the
society for the purpose of realization of the
rights and legal interests. The amendments
and the specification of the attorney’s fees
are expected to stimulate the professional-
ism and quality of service, and they will also
contribute to understand the importance of
advocacy in the society and the necessity for
every legal entity to have its own legal advi-
sor, that is, an attorney who will service and
who will appropriately keep records of the
entity through the legal system as a guaran-
tee for success and prosperity of every busi-
ness.
