“Path along the holy water” which is
offered on the info boards in the coun-
tryside. This path moves along the belt
below Pelister and is approximately 25
km long. The starting point of the trail
is Grnchari village from where on a
wide dirt road you arrive at the Mon-
astery “St. Elijah”. After passing by the
village of Rayca you arrive at Kurbino-
vo, and 200 meters uphill there is the
Slivnica monastery. The trail continues
to Lower Prespa and the village of Ar-
vati, and then to the villages Staro Sh-
trbovo and Brajchino. Above the village
is the monastery “St. Paraskeva” from
where, walking through the woods,
you will arrive at the church “St. Peter
and Paul” above the Ljubojno village. In
the end you will pass by the churches
“St. Mary” and “St. Athanasius” before
you arrive at the end of the trail and
the village of Dolno Dupeni.

The second proposal is to connect
the two different sides of Baba Moun-
tain, starting from the village of Malo-
vishte and crossing the mountain to
arrive to the Slivnica monastery and
finally take a cool swim in the Prespa
Lake. This is a one-way path, so you
have to organize your transport.
