the “Timelproekt” company from
Skopje and at the same time you
are Chief of party for the USAID’s
Industrial Management Project.
Tell us more about the Project,
when was it started and what are
its objectives? In what stage of
implementation is it?

strategy of its mission for
economic development in the
Republic of Macedonia, the United

Energy management systems
bring higher profits and
competitiveness to firms
implementing the Industrial
Management Project, for a third
consecutive year. The objective
of the Project is to increase the
competitiveness of industrial
companies by reducing the energy
consumption and costs as a part of
the total production costs, thereby
leading to a reduction of emissions
of gases that cause the greenhouse
effect in the long run. Specifically, and management systems in 17
the Project basically refers to an
introduction of energy management
in industrial companies in our
country through a systematic and
continuous dedication to finding
solutions for saving energy and
reduction of costs for this purpose,
on the basis of the principles of the
standard ISO 50001.
With the financial support
provided by USAID, in the past
eighteen months we introduced
energy consumption monitoring
industrial companies from the
private sector, from different
industrial branches. In this period
