INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR CERTIFIED
CONTROLLER IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE
PRESTIGIOUS CONTROLLER AKADEMIE® FROM
MUNICH (REPUBLIC OF GERMANY)
The International Group of Controlling (ICG),
with a seat in Austria represents the largest
world body where influential controlling orga-
nizations are members, and it is aimed to per-
form certification of education in the field of
controlling and controls at world level. These
are the most important objectives of the orga-
nization ICG:
- to promote the function and the role of con-
trollers;
- to be a forum for exchange of ideas and ex-
periences;
- to serve as a platform for compliance and
development of the controlling concept and the
controlling terminology;
- to maintain good connections with science
and the related fields of study in the fields of
controlling;
- to increase the market transparency and to
provide high quality in the training and in the
educational programs in the field of control-
ling;
- to define the quality standards for all mem-
bers of the International Controlling Group
in combination with the provision of a seal of
quality.
At the annual assembly of ICG in Budapest
on May 9, 2015, the Academy of Banking and In-

Preparation for the introduction of Certificate in
Banking (EFCB) – European Foundation Certificate
in Banking (EFCB). Since September 2017, with the
obtaining of the status associate member in the EBTN
(Еuropean Banking and Financial Services Training
Association), ABIT has the right to be the only one
from the Republic of Macedonia and from the region
accredited for the program European Foundation
Certificate in Banking (EFCB). This means, ending
with 2017/18, standardization of the Macedonian bank
employees and the potential bankers (young graduates)
with the EU colleagues from the entire world where
such diploma (EU certificate) (EFCB) is important.

formation Technology officially became a full
member. Namely, with this act for the first time
a Macedonian institution is put in position to
offer specialist education and certification in
the field of controlling at world level in the fu-
ture.
For this purpose, there are ongoing intensive
preparations to start with one-year specialist
practical studies for certification wherewith a
title Certified controller – diploma is acquired.
Namely, such program is designed in partner-
ship with the prestigious Controller Akade-
mie® from Munich (Republic of Germany) and
it comprises of three levels, as follows:
- Level 1: Certified controller I,
- Level 2: Certified controller II, by complet-
ing level 2, an international controller certifi-
cate is obtained;
- Level 3: Certified controller III, (Level 3 is
studied and completed in Munich – Germany,
and in the end an international diploma for a
controller from the most prestigious Controller
Akademie® is obtained.
The duration, more specifically at all levels,
includes 7 months of active education or in to-
tal for all three levels, 216 hours. The diplomas
are awarded by the Controller Akademie® from
Munich (Germany).

There is an ongoing development of ABIT’s second
column – information technology. For this purpose, a
program with draft seminars in the fields of information
technologies is prepared, in association with KIBS AD
Skopje, and the IT sectors in the commercial banks –
ABIT’s supporters.
