the real beauty of Prespa shore line lies
hidden on that side. About 5 km down
the relatively poor road, ascending in the
beginning, there is a panel indicating the
path to the “St. Elias” church. From the
church you can only walk to the lake and
you will need 7-8 minutes to arrive to the
spot offering the most beautiful view of
the lake. From there you will be able to
see the beautiful untouched beaches
known as Lisa.

When you arrive at the beautiful
beaches in the wilderness you may real-
ize that the best way to get to that place
might be by water, i.e. by renting a boat.
The “St. Elias” church was built in the
late XIX century on a cliff above the lake,
and it is in many ways reminiscent of “St.
John of Kaneo” in Ohrid. One can hardly
forget this place and view.

On the way back, Oteshevo may be a
nice place to stop and take a rest in the
shadows of some of the restaurants and
to summarize the impressions.
